Lovely to hear from you today Suzanne, I enjoyed this ramble very much whilst having some brekkie. Every time I hear of another parent whose child has left the house for the first time in years it gives me joy and hope. My son has gone on a little walk every evening since I mentioned him walking to the shop last week. He goes very late to avoid bumping into people I think. It’s a huge thing as he’s not wanted to go out where we live since he left school, there’s been some fear and trepidation there after past experiences. Doing major happy dance inside but trying to be chill about it.
Your voice sounded lighter in this ramble after what sounds like a full on week or two! I’m pleased that you don’t feel pressure to make it daily or share it daily, just go with the flow. ❤️
