Thank you for update on Jude. This morning I'd been wondering how things were going for her. Kind of shattering to hear though😥. Wishing her body all the strength to fight the infection and heal.

So pleased you had such a good day at Meta, and with all the other amazing women and change makers. It sounds like it was really invigorating and refueling for you. Lovely you have so many people to deeply connect with. Imagine it was nice to be home and in your own bed. Thanks for the update on Jude. Really hope they are able to get her off the ventilator soon, she's been on it for such a long time now. Bless her. Hope she is in less pain too. She is in my thoughts daily xxx
The Chris Packham series has opened up people's eyes to life for some autistic people and families....lived experience is such a vital resource to learn from, as it is now being acknowledged as an area of expertise too....we are starting to be heard and noticed. We need to live in a world where 'ah well I don't know what it is like for you so I never know what to do/say/offer etc'....it isn't acceptable to say this as a get out anymore....it should be an opener to 'so tell me/I will find out/I want to know more/help me understand/do better etc'.....curiosity and compassion??
Power of 5: 1) my husband. 2) my parents. 3) a small group of parents facing similar challenges who I have messenger rants etc with nearly every day.......can't think of two others at mo....:-(...feeling a little adrift from v important &influential friendships currently .....feeling too different....struggling with that. Yesterday sounds lovely, so glad you enjoyed yourself .
Lots of lovely memories today as Soph wanted to visit the zoo for her birthday, we had a fab time but was blooming cold xx
