good ramble - listened to half in a warm soothing bath, it sped past didn’t feel it was so long at all.

Loved my name check on this today! 🥰 Can report I am recovering, defo healing well from the injuries (riding horse hit by car - for anyone who didn’t know and wondered at all)- walking is now great and bodily pain much improved/almost gone. Mentally though I am still somewhat up and down at times. This is to be expected I’m told.

Hard to cope with even though knowing it’s a norm for these injuries 🤬

Worrying about our son is a major source of anxiety for me just now. I really must find energy and focus to go back through the course materials/my notes and get back on track.

Interested particularly in one of the topics from today’s Ramble as I have in last few weeks ended up journaling quite a bit - started really as an aid to recent injury related poor memory and has grown a wee bit.

So I’m very excited about next week’s rambles. More great listens I’m sure.

However - also wish you a lovely restful if possible time in Greece.

Thank you Suzanne you’re such a positive influencer to me and many others too ♥️

Oh how i wish we could voice memo our comments to you - i have so much to blurb about with you! Although I guess its good we dont have voice memo otherwise we would have 24 hours a day to listen to and not get anything done 😂 I believe the world would be so much more sparkly if we loved ourselves and cherished the bodys we lived in no matter the shape or size. Perhaps if companies like Dove keep doing what they do with wonderful charities like PMH then the world one day will be as sparkly as a snowglobe ✨💖

Aww that was a nice surprise, thank you for your kind personalised thoughts, Suzanne...yes, rather quiet, prob unsure of myself in various ways atm...my heels are allowing me to walk again, thank you...phew....but still problematic and not pain free, having to be careful and stick to soft ground and I live in trainers and orthotics now.... my fitness and size levels have sadly swopped ie fitness dropped, size quadrupled which gets me down but only myself to blame and this dratted aging. Look forward to your Greek prompts...a bit of work to be done here to be fully aligned with myself😉

Love the photo of Ross. Pleased you had a good evening, apart from hearing about the really rude man's comment. I definitely value who I am over how I look, which is just as well ;) With you on the healing/body/food journey. Haven't been out today other than to hang the whole road's washing out - well not literally, but felt like the whole street, and not just one child who seems have have a never ending amount of clothes. Go for it -Beyonce style! I hope you and Tanja have the most amazing time - I am sure you will, and really look forward to hearing about it xxx

Oh Suzanne this is such a special space to be able to share thoughts - but don’t feel you have to reply to them all as that’s another demand on you - and my subscription will need to go up.! Thanks for giving me Monday off - I am grabbing it with open arms! Me and my daughter were chatting earlier about something I remember my mum saying to me “I love you but don’t always like you”. She asked if I felt that way about her ( I said no) and she said I like you more than I did - so I’m taking that as an improvement in our connection! And tonight she has sat with me and her BFF while we have had a good chat and giggle . I started my walking again today- nearly killed me and needed an afternoon nap 😂 . Have a great time in Greece . Love the idea of spending some time alone journaling - maybe we should do a daily ramble “retreat’l!!

Suzanne talking to 🐑 sheep...I love it 😀 😍 ❤️

I'm not a footy fan , probably because my dad and brother live breathe watch support man City, always have done! I zone out of it all, its not my cuppa tea .

Thank you for answering our comments in person , so very much appreciated.

I have to confess 😅 I need to relisten to the last bit of your ramble, I'm so very tired and your voice so soothing I drifted off to 😴 sleep.

I attended a crisis CAMHS appointment with Soph this afternoon , it broke 💔 my heart to see how much they have been struggling in the shadow of their sisters mental health crisis, watching them hold everything in because they had too, so much pain internalised. One day at a time for my Soph xxx

I'm off to relisten to the last bit xx

Great post Suzanne, esp as a Palace fan and having Roy back! Body disconnection one I have explored several times, what does it mean to be female in today’s society and the way the world goes through cycles reflected in women’s visibility/taking up space. Looking forward to your Crete rambles and who knows, might spark some art - being curiously playful (my theme last week) with no expectation of where you end up, I find I follow my own compass but that might also be my life stage and happier in my skin and who I am. Happy self-adventures with Tanja x

Also ! ( sorry) really interested in the Dove work. As my daughter has started to open up more she has started to say she doesn’t like herself and her self esteem is really poor. So obvs I’m on fixer mode !! Don’t think her issue is body image though - but open to any support she could access so she realises how funny and fab she is !

Suzanne thank you. I'm smiling wide as I see you open armed with sequins and fire. I do also love your sheep. Your comments are so helpful. I knew I'd got the wrong end of the stick thinking what you said meant I was putting shame on my loved one. Your comments today are really helpful, especially about bearing the brunt. To keep with analogy and not specifics: where there are still backdrafts to actions in history. If I'm opening a door on them ( in order to heal) I can be ready and step out of the way.
