It looks so beautiful! We did an 80th tea party for my mum last week. That involved me driving to Somerset on the Fri and back on the Sat to bring my mum's oldest friend aka Auntie Valalee (from the 60s) up for the celebration. We had a lovely lunch and wander at Glousceter services. (I think my favourite is still the southbound M6 Teabay service though) I'm getting quite into my episodes of 'EV Motoring' with Suze ;-)
I drove back from Cornwall yesterday. I don't have an electric car so I didn't have to sorry about finding a power point. One tip though, is to put suncream on your arms when it's hot, as even through glass, skin can turn red!! Whoops!
Sorry about Ruth. Childhood connections can bring much joy and nostalgia. Xxx
Sorry to hear about Ruth. I hope you don’t mind if I make a suggestion….write what you want to say about her down. Her husband and children will love to read it back in times to come. It’s such a precious gift to give a newly bereaved family. Please by kind to yourself too over the next few days/weeks (as I’m sure you’d tell us!)
On a lighter note, Gloucester services are the best and the sausage rolls are amazing as are the scotch eggs…you should try one.
Have a fantastic BBQ. I’m going to a garden party at a friend’s house this afternoon so that will be fun. Went for a guided walk in the sand dunes earlier, but didn’t take any photos of the stunning views. I’ll see if the organisers post the ones they took otherwise you can have a view at the garden party!
Beautiful photos. What a stunning view.
Sorry to hear about Ruth. Very sad. I’m sure she knew how she touched your life.
Enjoy your family Barbie.
Mother’s Day here in France today. Beautiful day here too. I’ll send a pic of mine. Not quite the same! xxx
