We too had the conversation this morning on the way to college about each snowflake ❄️ meant to be a different pattern.. and thinking with your unique word as my A struggles to fit in mask and conform still everyday within an environment of what should be expected of you and then thankful for seeing many diverse children compared to high school..making them see we can be different. ❤️‍🩹

Not only can we be different, Lorraine, we should embrace our difference and celebrate it. A is an AMAZING person who will find their people, find their space and find their place. Especially with such a top mum beside her <3

Very envious of your snow and picturesque photos, it looks so beautiful - not a flake here still, just cold and rain. Love snow, and so do the kids (although they are probably wishing for a snow day off school). We are all as unique as a snowflake, and so we should be too - confident to be ourselves and what we bring to the world. I find the more really deep work I do on myself the more authenticity is important to me, and paramount for me - not only in myself, but also in those that I choose to connect with. It's also hard earned when you come from a trauma childhood where that wasn't allowed, encouraged, supported so it can feel really precious to have as an adult and of great value, and to be protected as it wasn't easy to come by. The wisdom gained from the lessons learned definitely add to our own authenticity, so there's no way it can be replicated. I find it really empowering too, to just be yourself, to know yourself, and be okay with that. Not heard of Mary Oliver before - off to google her. Pleased to know inhaling gas isn't your thing lol ;) Hope you enjoyed your breakfast xxx

Beautiful snowy photos Suzanne 🌨️❄️

I love snow if it's deep new and fresh and I don't have to drive anywhere.

The snow made me reminisce about Jess' mental health journey, only just over 2 years ago Jess sat in our garden in the snow planning to take her own life there and then.

Today she dragged me out for a snow walk with the dogs , she was joyful and excited and I was fascinated to watch the change in her , acknowledge her journey which has been extraordinarily difficult and heartbreaking for us all. Yet here we are in different snow, stronger and beautifully connected.x
