I don't/can't travel light so going anywhere is always a major upheaval. You're doing very well to sound so wide awake and chirpy after your middle of the night chit chatting 😜
Morning, it's so funny you mentioning baggage - it ties in so much with my epiphany in the bath yesterday! Mel sounds very wise, and great advice from her, so hope you do reach out and open that first door. Perhaps listen to the book on the way home today. Hope you have a great time at Meta xxx
What a lovely plodcast. I do enjoy a good Nannaism. I've been thinking quite a bit about lightening my load recently. Truth be told it's a bit scary. And difficult to work out what is mine to carry. I find myself thinking I can't leave this on the side of the road but can't see anyone to ask to carry it for me. Hmmm, it just occurred to me, I need a Sherpa.
Aaah talking into early hours.....used to love that with nights away with friends!! Had forgotten all about that!! Had a really good meeting today re: son and his education etc....might not work but is something, not the nothing of the last 2 years...I cried in the meeting...from relief...it burst out of me....think there is some baggage there ?!?...AND son made it to dentist (who had put some simple yet wonderful adjustments in place) for first time in about 4 years....see world, accommodating people who need it isn't impossible.....lovely city ramble but I prefer birdsong! My son asked for some money to give to a man on the tube when we used to travel.....the man said 'Thank you for seeing me - most people pretend I don't exist'. Another challenge in your life Suzanne x

Lovely you were chatting to Mel until the wee small hours .enjoy your time at Meta and hope those doors start opening for you.
I seem to be carrying so much at the moment ,I just want to put it all down and have a snooze !💤
I hadn't realised you slept rough for 6 months, it sounds terrifying, you've come such a long way since then x
