I have finally figured out how to comment! I am struggling with sciatica type pain in my right hip/leg which is driving me crazy. The only message I think it is giving me is to tell me NOT to carry my gorgeous grand daughter on my hip. Love the look of your bake.. I made lasagne today and Easter cookies with smashed mini eggs in them. Went down well with the family. X
Suzanne...that chocolate 'effort' (as my dear late mum would describe it 😂🙈) looks absolutely amazing. I could see why you had been eating it all day.
Rather than listening to my pain, I have been listening to my mood and allowing myself to take time off and not feel guilty. I have been in my PJ's for the last 3 days..and that's ok. I haven't done what I should really be doing....and that's ok. As a result I have been quite productive as I haven't been going round in circles doing nothing, betrating myself for not doing what I should have been doing.
I hope you have a lovely day with your family today xx
Think I've gained a stone looking at the photo, and hearing the recipe, of your lovely creation - sounds amazing. As soon as you said about the caramel I was saying out loud "hope you didn't burn your mouth". Can relate to the cough and early mornings. Up-leveling is certainly hard work and seriously uncomfortable whilst working through it but, as you know, worth it once on the other side. But, it's not easy, at all. You've got this. Not had any chocolate, as vegan chocolate is disgusting. Did have a nice roast dinner and the King Edwards turned out well. S even ate with us, which is so rare nowadays. I really hope things feel a little easier tomorrow and you are able to lose the weight of this. Thinking of you and sending lots of love back. Take care and embrace the pjs!!!! xxx
Ah I thought vegan chocolate wasn't too bad. Especially their Galaxy version. Vegan cheese however...yuck! It's funny... everytime I cook potatoes now...I immediately think of you haha! No King Edward's here sadly 😕
Your chocolate creation looks amazing, as Alison said I think a put a stone on just looking at it !
I totally hear what your saying re listening to what your body is trying to tell you , without fear or judgement just curiosity, I think that's awesome your in a place to do that, I applaud 👏 your pause ⏸️ and listening .
My body has been shouting loud and long at me for years with consequent multiple health conditions now . It's only through PNP and the kindness of a beautiful PMH community that I'm starting to listen to what my body needs too, it's definitely a work in progress.
Wish I could do a pj day , I can't at the moment , still locked in fight or flight and I just can't 'pj in the day', but there's always hope maybe one day !
