What I learnt recently re my body as a vessel, is that my spirit/ soul is way stronger than my physical body. I'm learning to listen to my heart💖 more than my head 🧠
Things of joy rainbows🌈, the smell of hyacinths, the sky - day or night , laughter- when you just can't stop laughing , hugs from my children , the sea and beach , dog cuddles.
Second time listening to this - first time I was out searching for a birthday pudding - so now listening again so i can comment. I was really excited seeing it was a longer ramble, yet equally worried in case you're over-doing it. Please pace yourself x I love daffodils but can't have them in the house (allergic) - have the little ones in my garden though. They aren't flowering yet. Love clean sheets and cut grass too - as well as freshly washed clothes that smell of fabric softer. Used to really love the smell of my children as babies after their baths when you snuggled them. I'm so proud of you for doing this hard work on yourself, for sharing with us, for being vulnerable. I can relate to the deep sadness too for our young selves. We had a vegetarian chinese takeaway as it's one of my children's birthdays and that was their choice of meal xxx
PS it's not a pile of shit and certainly not a chore listening ;)
Me and my daughter were talking about masking in the car this morning and she said “Fake it till you make it!”. What brings me joy at the moment is Pink Gjn and lemonade and singing in the car with my daughter 🥰! Not at the same time as she can’t drive yet and that’s against the law ! Small technical request ….. I listen to your rambles in the car, volume has to be turned up to catch all your rambles, when you blew your nose it nearly took my head off !! 🤣🤣🤣 Thought that would make you laugh !!
You most definitely ARE a regular exerciser Suzanne, remember that....but I think your body might be telling you not to over do it or over commit at the moment.
What brings me a joy is still a hard question to answer.
Do love the lark ascending. Such a wonderful uplifting piece of music.
Rhubarb
Out in my place of joy shovelling horse poo and listening ❤️
