Loved Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes....bet you looked absolutely fab in the puffball combo!! I remember you saying about having the cheap versions off the market - that SO took me back!!! Baggy zipper jeans and stone wash, bat wing denim jacket....all I wanted ....and we got them from Victoria Market in Nottm...so they never felt 'quite right'!! I didn't get to have a puffball although was desperate for one...but i remember my friend constructing one out of a long skirt and a belt tied above her knees ....hahahaha I was never that desperate!! Did have a gold and black Ra-ra skirt though, and a gold sequinned boob tube 🤣🤣🤣 one of the outfits from our dancing shows....

Am about to listen to ramble on my way to buy cat worming tablets and a quick nip to Sainsburys for some me time.....two days of nearly normal sleep and awake in day, son was awake all night and crashed at 11.30am.....am trying not to let it bring me down....remember the positives....
It's a much nicer day there - cloudy and grey here. Can't believe you never watched Happy Valley before now - loved it. I'm very alive then, as I feel, deeply, all emotions. I quite like it though, it's a good guage of what to work on. It's awful that so many things are classed as a disorder. I LOVED my puffball skirt - I had a white one. Your look sounded great! I know what you mean - I was married and had been for 2 years, own home and working two jobs at the age L is now. I also probably looked like I had it altogether, but I didn't, and it took me another few years to be able to leave that abusive relationship. Hope the trip to Hobby Craft is all it needs to be - sending love to Issy xxx
I'm having a little smile to myself at some of the 80s clothes I wore. Peddlepushers, pixie boots, legwarmers, flying / jumpsuits with matching contrast belts and shoes, and batwing jumpers 🤣 I'm glad to smile as I've had a few really low weeks. It's not just a good tv story, you are scientifically right 'to be alive you have to feel'. Back to my 'O' level biology the 7 characteristics of living things:
1. Nutrition
2. Respiration
3. Growth
4. Movement and Locomotion
5. Excretion
6. Sensitivity (FEELING)
7. Reproduction
Apart from feelings another thing I've been noticing a lot lately is excrement 💩😝 At least I'm alive!
This week:
* We have a cardiac review for my son. I'm hoping for a good doctor, a plan, and relief from our worry.
* I'm hoping my sprained ankle improves enough to let me do some short flat walks.
* A therapy session - that hopefully, I won't sob through.
* Starting some proper good self-care. My 7-week hand-building pottery course with Raku firing begins on Thursday. I can feel myself grinning as I type this.
